Set up Varyz
- Download your installer and compare its release checksum. The initial Windows release is unsigned; Mac installers are signed and notarized.
- Run the installation wizard. For upgrades, close Varyz agents and stop its background services first.
- Review setup in your browser. Choose your sources and AI agent connections, then wait until setup finishes.
The Windows installer includes Python and dependencies. Selected local models need an internet connection during setup. Your archive stays on your computer. Cloud syncing and sharing anonymized examples with the Varyz network are both optional and need your approval.
On a Mac, choose M1 or newer for Apple Silicon, or Intel for an Intel processor. Both require macOS 14 or later and include Python and dependencies.
