How to sell your expertise with Varyz

This guide takes you from your first offer to your first payout.

Varyz Expertise lets you sell the way you work. A client subscribes to one of your topic packs, like your design or writing rules, or to the standards you built their project with. Their AI then works your way, and you earn every month they stay.

What you need

Local Varyz, used on real work Install local Varyz and work on a project with your AI connected to it, so it learns how you work. The next section explains why this matters.
Your rules in Varyz Cloud Sign in to Varyz Cloud from local Varyz so your confirmed rules sync. Packs are made only from rules already in Cloud.
A username Choose it in your Varyz account. Clients see it, as in "@yourname".
Varyz Expertise Open Expertise in your Varyz account and subscribe. It includes everything in Varyz Cloud and Varyz Shared. If you already pay for Cloud, your plan switches in place. See pricing for the price in your currency.

Let Varyz learn while you work

Varyz can learn from your past conversations with AI agents, project by project. That is a good start, but what it learns while you work with it is much more accurate.

It asks During a project, Varyz asks about the choices it is not sure of.
It keeps your corrections It saves your answers and the corrections you give your AI.
You confirm each rule It asks you to confirm the rules it picks up, so each one says exactly what you want, and you have checked it.

So before you sell, do real work with Varyz on the kind of project you sell, such as a website if you sell your design rules. The rules in your pack come out sharper, and your client's AI follows them more closely.

Step 1 Choose what to sell

On the Expertise page, press Sell something new. Each client plan sells one thing, and you can sell more later.

A topic pack Your rules on one subject, like design, writing or automation. Your client's AI uses them in every project when they ask it to, and their own rules always come first.
A project The preferences, design rules and standards of a project you built. Use it when you hand a website or app over, so your client's next AI keeps building it your way. A project you already share on Varyz Shared works too: your client joins it and always has its latest preferences.

Step 2 Pick the rules

Name the topic, or pick the project. Varyz suggests the rules that fit, and you keep the ones that go in. Nothing reaches anyone at this step: you are only saving what you will sell. Press Save and continue.

Read each rule as your client will. Leave out anything private, anything that only made sense for one past client, and anything you would not want to be held to.

Step 3 Tell Varyz where to pay you

The first time, Varyz asks for your payout details: PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, Revolut or a bank account. You enter them once and can change them later under Payout details on the Expertise page. They are stored encrypted, and only Varyz can read them, to pay you.

Step 4 Make the offer

Enter your client's name, their email address and a monthly price in US dollars, tax included. Any price from $9 to $1,000,000 a month works, cents included. With your first offer you also accept the Varyz Expertise terms, so read them first.

Varyz emails your client a link to the offer and shows you the same link, so you can send it yourself as well. The link only works for the Varyz account with that email address. A new offer to the same client for the same pack or project replaces the one still waiting.

What your client sees

Your client signs in, or creates a free Varyz account with the email you used. The offer shows your name, what is included, the price and a Subscribe button. They pay through Paddle, which handles the payment and tax. Their plan gives their AI the rules you chose for them.

If they are new to Varyz, send them the guide for clients.

What you earn

You receive 80% of what Varyz earns from each client payment, after tax and Paddle's fee. Varyz keeps 20%.

For example, a client in the Netherlands pays $49 a month, tax included:

Paddle's fee here is its standard published rate. Your earnings always follow the tax and fee Paddle reports for each payment, and any income tax you owe on them is yours to pay.

When you get paid

A 30-day hold Each payment waits 30 days before it can be paid out, in case of a refund or chargeback.
Monthly payouts Payouts are worked out at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month, separately for each currency.
Sent by Varyz Varyz sends the money to your payout details and keeps the transfer reference.
Paid in Paddle's currency Earnings stay in the currency Paddle pays out in, so a balance in euros is paid in euros. There is no minimum payout.
Refunds take their share back A refund after you were paid comes off your next payout, and an open refund or chargeback holds that month's payout until it is settled.

Managing your clients

See every plan The Client plans list on the Expertise page shows every offer and plan with its status.
End a plan Ending a plan stops its next renewal. Your client keeps access until the end of the period they paid for.
Your client can cancel They cancel from their offer link at any time, and also keep access until the paid period ends.
Keep the pack or project in place while clients pay If you delete the topic pack, or pause or delete the shared project, your client loses access, and the terms promise them a refund of the unused part on request.
If your Varyz Expertise ends Your existing clients keep their access, but you cannot make new offers.
Deleting your account It waits until every paid period has ended, so end those plans first.

Choose what to sell, pick the rules and send the link. You earn every month your client stays.
