How to use a client plan from an expert
This guide covers what you get, how to start and how to cancel.

An expert you work with, like the designer or developer who built your website, has set up a Varyz client plan for you. With it, your AI works the way they do: with their design rules, their writing style or the standards they built your project with.
What you get
- The expert's rules or project standards Either a topic pack, like their design rules, which your AI uses in any project when you ask it to, or the preferences, design rules and standards of the project they built for you.
- Your own rules first Your request comes first, then your own rules, then the expert's. Your AI treats the expert's rules as guidance, and asks you only when a choice it needs is still open.
- In the AI tools you use ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another app that supports remote MCP.
- A price the expert sets You pay monthly, tax included. Paddle shows the total before you pay.
Step 1 Open the offer
Varyz emails you a link from the expert. Open it and sign in, or create a free Varyz account with the email address the offer was sent to. The link only works for that account. If you would rather use another email, ask the expert to send the offer to it.
Step 2 Subscribe
The offer page shows what is included, the monthly price and a Subscribe button. You pay through Paddle, which handles the payment and tax.
Step 3 Connect your AI
Your plan appears in your Varyz account under Shared, then With me.
- A project Open it and copy the request it shows into your AI chat, such as "Use the Varyz Shared project "Northwind website", shared by @yourexpert, for this task." If your AI is not connected yet, the same page shows how to connect ChatGPT or another app that supports remote MCP.
- A topic pack Open it and tell your AI the words it shows, such as "use @yourexpert's design pack". Your AI needs Varyz connected: in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, install local Varyz and sign in with your Varyz account.
From then on, ask your AI to use the expert's rules whenever you want them. Reading or quoting them does not switch them on by itself.
Cancel or change your plan
- Cancel any time Use the offer link in your email. Paddle stops the next payment, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. After that, Varyz deletes the copy of a topic pack it saved on your computer.
- If the expert ends the plan You also keep access until the paid period ends.
- If the expert removes what you pay for If they delete the topic pack or pause the project, your access ends, and you can ask for a refund of the unused part.
- Refunds Client plans have the same 14-day refund window as Varyz Cloud. Read the refund policy.
Good to know
- The expert does not see your work A client plan lets your AI read what the expert shared. It does not give the expert your own preferences, history or projects.
- How the money splits The expert receives 80% of what Varyz earns from your payment, after tax and Paddle's fee. Varyz keeps 20%.
- Paddle handles the payment Varyz offers the plan through Paddle, which handles the payment, tax and invoices.
Questions about the rules themselves go to your expert. Questions about your account or payment go to Varyz support. Read the terms and privacy notice, or the guide for experts.
